Kim Delaney has won Emmy Awards for her role as Detective Diane Russell. Her roles comprise All My Children Philly CSI: Miami and Army Wives. Delaney, the only child of a United Auto Workers senior executive as well as a domestic worker was raised with her four siblings. As a child, she dreamt of being an official in the courtroom. But after she graduated from high school, and moving to New York in the 1980s then she started modeling. In her teens the first time she appeared as an actress was in the soap opera All My Children.
